Digits 2015

Strawberry Singh asks how the mesh body revolution has affected our shapes in SL.  Comparing my digits from 2012 to today...not much.



My arms got a little longer, my hips a little narrower, and I'm a bit shorter, but otherwise, my digits are the same - pretty much a standard size M in SL (for comparison, my 2012 digits).  Without shoes, my av is about 6' tall, which seems to be on the short end in comparison to other avatars.

Do you currently own a mesh body? If so, do you wear it all the time or just once in a while?

I own mesh body demos, and they are all very nice, but I feel like since I'm fairly modest in my dress in SL, I don't really need to have a mesh body, and I'm really confused by all the appliers and which clothes fit which body.  I just wear the hands and feet.

How do you feel about mesh bodies in general? 

They're lovely but expensive.

What is one thing you would request from designers when it comes to mesh bodies? 

I guess I don't really have requests for designers.  Mostly, I question why, if designers can create a nice mesh avatar, why can't SL?  It would be nice if, maybe, SL were to hire the people that have created these bodies and have them work together to create a wonderful, new, high quality avatar mesh that is compatible with current system layers with one applier system.  That would be my dream.

The Date

She sat in the garden until midnight, but she knew he was never going to show.  She couldn't remember which of her 5 dating apps it was that started them chatting, and she had tried her best to sound like a normal girl.  It's sometimes hard to keep up that normal facade for long, but she thought she was doing a good job this time.  She didn't talk about her fixation with blood and death at all, even, and she only made passing references to her collections.



While her heart sank, she was also a bit relieved.  These things never end well, and she is running out of room in her crawl space.
