Have you ever caught your reflection in a window and didn't recognize yourself? It's nice when you think, "Wow, she's gorgeous! Oh, wait, that's me!"
But what if those two phenomenon happen at the same time? You see a reflection, and it's a strange version of you, but you also see something else - something sinister or dangerous. It's following you, and you don't know why. You can only catch it out of the corner of your eye, then it goes away.
