Waiting For Sunset

As the day begins to end, the warmth of the sun ebbs.  The light fades from her face.  She is alone, in the city, but she is just where she wants to be.

"Yes!" She thinks.  "This is my place, my time.  I belong here."

Where are my damn earrings?
