It Wasn't a Dingo

She heard a cry in the dark.  What was there?  A pram, old and torn up.  And inside?  Yes, a baby.

 

She always thought about becoming a mother, even though it seemed so strange.

 

No.  Mothering was not for her.  Babies don't seem to like graveyards and swamps and horrible places.

 

She has other plans.
