Last One

She kept looking, hoping to find another survivor.  She only wanted to hear the sound of another's voice, to feel the sensation of touch on her skin.  So she searched, and she searched, and she searched, and found nothing.  Not even the chirping of a bird or the scurring of a mouse.



Surely, there must be someone else out there.  How is it possible that she is the only survivor?  She can't be alone.



She just can't be.
